As an intrapreneur, my experience with Innovation & Management involved leveraging Design Thinking Strategy for empathizing with the users, citing out the need for understanding & observing the pain points of the end user, buyer, customer via various quantitative & qualitative customer interviews and other customer interaction methods, review captured insights via user research, insight curation, personas & point of view, storyboards, user story and use cases, induce rapid prototyping, ensure validation and testing of the prototypes.

Once that's done, it involved working on the architecture of the product/service, key stakeholders-their roles & responsibilities, the key benefits & takeaway for the stakeholders and the information flow among all these entities and components. Evaluation of the proposed solution against the Business Model baseline that involves identifying the partner and customer network and looking into the customer segments that the product has been planned to expand into, the value propositions, distribution channel, customer relations, key activities, key resources, cost structure and revenue streams of the product. It demands BMI iterations which involved strategically changing and challenging the existing solutions with a vision considering the internal & external threats and opportunities iteratively as the market and economy changes over time clubbed with risk analysis, coming up with new hypothesis and updated business models and testing & verifying them with multiple test strategies and consistently work on the heuristic logic that connects the technical potential & available resources with realization of economic values for the company.

About Hundred

HundrED is a mission-driven organisation, transforming K12 education through innovation. Founded in Helsinki in 2015, our approach is one grown from sharing a culture of Finnish educational entrepreneurship with a truly global outlook and reach. The world is full of hardworking specialists who are driving innovative, impactful, effective and scalable approaches to education. But many of the existing solutions to the shared challenges our global education systems face are not being spread beyond an individual classroom.

HundrED believes that through identifying, amplifying, and facilitating the
implementation of K12 education innovations, the global education systems can be transformed and students equipped with the skills to thrive as global citizens..

HundrED Advisory Board members are selected based on their specific insights relevant to the Spotlight to help the HundrED Team select the most impactful and scalable innovations within a thematic or geographical area for one of HundrED Spotlight Collections.

The HundrED Academy consists of stakeholders from educators to experts, from a wide variety of countries. The academy member’s expertise and insights drive the selection of HundreED’s Global Collection annually. The Academy Member help HundrED select the most impactful innovations in the world every year for their collection via the evaluation matrix.

About AIM

Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is Government of India’s flagship initiative to create and promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across the length and breadth of our country. AIM’s objective is to develop new programmes and policies for fostering innovation in different sectors of the economy, provide platforms and collaboration opportunities for different stakeholders, and create an umbrella structure to oversee the innovation & entrepreneurship ecosystem of the country.


About Mentor India / Mentor of Change

Mentor India is a strategic nation-building program to engage mentors who can lead the way for students of Atal Tinkering Labs across India. We call them "Mentors of Change" who volunteer for mentorship and help students practice future skills such as design thinking. Mentors of Change are instrumental in making the Atal Tinkering Labs a successful platform for students by joining in experimenting, innovating, and bringing their knowledge to practice.

Roles & responsibilities:
 

- Drive mentoring sessions 
- Sessions focused on guiding and nurturing students in Atal Tinkering Labs for problem formulation, finding solutions to common problems faced in day to day life, and finally tinkering on ideas converting them into scalable solutions.
-Reasonable availability to help students on the portal developed for Mentor India
- Provide support and review specific innovation projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to school management/ individual students to allow further improvement at regular intervals.
- Introduce students to relevant extended communities / networks.
- Reasonable participation in social media forums organized by Atal Tinkering Labs.
- Support the school in reaching out to communities in neighbouring areas.
- Help the schools to arrange for sessions in the lab in after school hours or in camp mode or during vacations or on weekends
(based on mutual availability of selected mentors and students).

About Global Goals Jam
 

The Global Goals Jam was founded by Digital Society School (DSS) & UNDP and has been further developed and coordinated by (DSS). Local organisers – ranging from universities and design labs to NGOs or consultancies – can apply to host a Jam. Together with partners from the local industry they co-design challenges related to one or more of the selected global themes. Thousands of change makers have used the Gloabl Goals Jam methodology and are now part of this growing learning community around the SDGs, ready to design 2030 now.

About EdTech Estonia

EdTech Estonia is a non-profit umbrella organization for 35+ edtech startups in Estonia. The members cover target groups from toddlers to adult learners and everything in between. Their solutions are equally as diverse, covering topics such as mental health, school management, language learning, financial literacy, environmental skills and many more.

EdTech Estonia supports the ecosystem through a yearly hackathon, enabling new startups to take shape. Existing members are offered collaboration opportunities, relevant workshops, export contacts in their target markets, PR support and more. EdTech Estonia is also a strategic partner for the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia. They also collaborates with major universities to fulfill a practical role in scientific research carried out in the broader field of edtech.

EdTech Estonia brings together and represents Estonian EdTech companies, to make Estonia the leading EdTech country!

About SMES

Inspired by the life and ideals of Maharaja Surajmal, a great Indian patriot and enlightened ruler of Bharatpur during the eighteenth century, Surajmal Memorial Education Society was established in 1972 and registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The main aim of the Society was to disseminate quality education in the technical and professional areas, specially those beneficial to the students from rural and hitherto educationally deprived people of our country. There are more than 9000 members of the society spread over all parts of India and abroad. However, the main component is from the states of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan.

A plot of land measuring 7.94 acres was acquired from DDA in 1976 on which construction of the first phase of the building was taken up towards the end of 1978. On completion of this work, the academic programmes were started with the introduction of Certificate and Diploma courses in various Technical Streams in 1982.Enthused by the success of the academic programmes and overwhelming support of its members, the Society went on extending the infrastructure in terms of buildings and equipment.
